Background: The ongoing Coronavirus-19 disease epidemic is a public health emergency of international concern which could pose challenge to psychological resilience. This mainly the case patients with rheumatic diseases (RD). Objectives: aim this study was establish prevalence psychiatric symptoms in RD and identify factors associated stress. Methods: A cross-sectional conducted among RD. They were invited respond survey designed assess their response after outbreak SARS-COV2 pandemic. Mental status Covid-19 evaluated using Depression Anxiety Scale (DASS-21). total depression subscale score divided into normal (0–9), mild (10–12), moderate (13–20), severe (21–27), extremely (28–42). anxiety (0–6), (7–9), (10–14), (15–19), (20–42).The Impact Event Scale-Revised (IES-R) 22-item self-administered questionnaire that assesses post-traumatic state (PTS). cut-off point 33 provided best diagnostic accuracy for PTS. level significance fixed at 0.05. Results: Sixty included (42 rheumatoid arthritis 18 spondylarthritis) mean age 51.3 ± 13.1 years [18-75]. majority women (63.3%), married (81.7%), household size 3–5 people (67.9%). duration 11.9 ±5.6 [1-23] years. According DASS almost half (47%) suffered from depression, classified as 10% cases. 12.6 8.2 [1-35]. 23% cases, 25% 23.3% ILES-R 20.4 10.2 [20-38]. Women experienced more PTS than men (26.3% vs 22.7%) without reaching statistically significant correlation (p=0.9).
